The application of the ISO 9001/2015 quality certification system is a well-established practice which, together with the particular technology of the chrome plating process, is expressed in the consolidated control procedures and with the help of an equipped laboratory.

Both special pieces and standard bars are checked individually by checking:

• matching steel and casting
• diameter and tolerance
• roundness, concentricity and ovality
• thickness and hardness of the chromium coating
• surface roughness Ra
• visual inspection of any isolated defects

Checks carried out for batches or on request:

• corrosion resistance in neutral salt spray
• corrosion resistance in acetic salt spray
