50 YEARS OF INNOVATION
The production and marketing of chrome-plated bars and tubular profiles have been carried out in Brugherio (MB) since the 1970s, when C.P.I. S.p.a introduced innovative work cycles and patented system technology. In 1998, Galtec s.r.l., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ELG Steel S.p.a, took over the entire business, concentrating production and investments on systems for the processing of outsize products, with diameters starting from 5 mm up to a maximum of 500 mm. In 2015, following a corporate reorganisation, ELG Chromium Plating s.r.l., abbreviated to ECP, was established. The new company continued to pursue the previously traced path of technological innovation in the field of industrial hard chromium plating, focusing particularly on large and extremely long products, thanks to the exploitation of continuous chromium plating plants that are unique in the world, devoting particular attention to the contract transformation market.

SYSTEMS
The special feature of the systems that we design and build is that they offer the possibility to chrome-plate elements measuring over 20 m long, with diameters of up to 500 mm, in segregated tanks, using small quantities of chrome and therefore saving resources.
WORK CYCLE
We manage the entire processing cycle in-house, from the purchase of raw materials from leading steel mills, through production and processing to the management of all finishing and testing operations, with continuous monitoring and guaranteed delivery times and budgets.
